A unique opportunity to join founder Marion Rosen and Valerie Luoto, teacher/practitioner
for an experiential introduction to Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement in the beautiful and
serene atmosphere of the M A Center. Explore the body-mind connection through lectures,
demonstrations, movement and hands-on work. This workshop is intended to benefit people from
all walks of life who want greater physical and emotional aliveness.
This workshop will be of special interest to (but not limited to) the
healing arts community such as: massage practitioners, health
professionals and psychotherapists.

More About Rosen Method
Rosen Method bodywork is a
powerful tool for stress reduction and for reaching the body / mind
connection through touch. It is a type of complementary health care often recommended by doctors,
psychotherapists and chiropractors as an adjunct to their treatment. Rosen Method is effective in
easing chronic tension and its ill effects on the mind and body. It is a valuable technique
for personal growth and for finding the path of the heart and soul in one's life and living more
fully in the present.
Rosen Method is distinguished by its gentle, direct touch. Using hands that listen
rather than manipulate, the practitioner focuses on chronic muscle tension. As relaxation occurs
and the breath deepens, unconscious feelings, attitudes, and memories may emerge.
Marion Rosen, the founder of Rosen Method, and
Valerie Luoto, a Rosen Method teacher/practitioner, are both devotees
of Amma and have joined hands to do this Rosen Method Event as a
benefit for Amma’s humanitarian activities.
