What are my options to register for Amma's
retreats?

The first option is to register on-line. Read the step
by step procedure for complete overview of the on-line registration
process. We strongly recommend that you use our on-line registration
facility. Its quick, easy and worry free!

The second option is to send the registration form by postal
mail. The registration form for postal mail along with the address
to send it to can be downloaded from amma.org website: www.amma.org/tours/amma-tours/retreat-form.html

Could you tell me the step by step
procedure to register on-line for Amma's retreats?
1. Creating User Account
Before you register for the retreats you will be requested to create
a user account on our site. Press "click here if you a new user"
button to create this account on the "login" Page. You will requested
to enter you name and contact information that includes email and
postal address. Besides this, you will also be requested to choose
a "username" as well as a "password" for site registration. An email
with the username and password information will also be sent to
you.

Having an email address to register is a requirement.

Please save the chosen username and password. This is important
as you can access the on-line retreat registration service at
any time by logging in using the username and password.

To change password or in case you have forgotten your password,
please click the appropriate links on the Login page. Any changes
made to your password will be sent to you via email.
2. On-line Retreat Registration

Enter your username and password on the login
page.
-
Press "Register Online" button.
-
Now you are within the retreat registration application.
-
The retreats open for registration are listed on the screen.
-
Press "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
-
Press "Register" button displayed against each retreat to
register for that specific one.

On the next page, you will either select names from those
that had registered for previous retreats or you can add new
registrants by clicking "Add New Registrants" button.

Personal information such as your gender and age (if below
18) will be requested for every new registrant.

Please note: You will need to click the check box placed on
the left side of each name to select them for registration.
Unless this box is checked, none of the existing names that
appear on the page will be registered.

Press "continue" button to move on the next phase of registration.

Accommodation preferences specific to the retreat are listed
on the next page. To assist you with your choices, click on
the "help" link under the "Rooming Option."

After selection of the accommodation choices, the cost per
person is automatically displayed on the page.

Now you can select the type of "selfless service" you would
like to do at the retreat. Clicking "Help - Explanations" link
will provide detailed explanations of the service options (i.e.
early bird, night owl or child seva etc.).

Most the assigned seva span about 2 hours.

Once you have completed the selfless service selection, press
"Continue" to proceed on to register for the second retreat.

You will go through the same sequence of selecting the names
(and adding new names) to register and opt accommodation as
well as selfless service preferences.

After the selection of all of the above information, you can
proceed on the third retreat and so on.
3. Payment

Once you have finished registering for the retreats, press
"Proceed to Payment" button (on the current status page) to
select the payment method.

We only accept credit card payments. We use the most advanced
on-line security system available to process your requests.

Press "Continue" to proceed.
4. Registration Request Submission

Once your payment method is completed, you are almost ready
to submit the registration request.

We advise you to read the administration guidelines before
placing sending your registration.

Only after checking the box mentioned you have read these
guidelines and selecting the mode of receipt communication (i.e.
via email or postal mail), you can press the "Submit" button
5. Registration Requisition Number
-
After on-line submission, the summary of your entire registration
will be displayed along with a registration request number.
Depending on the choice you made for the confirmation communication,
this summary will be sent to you via email or postal mail.

Please refer to this requisition number for any enquiries.

Making an on-line request does not complete the registration.

Only after the payment is cleared (i.e. check is received
for check payment or credit card is charged for credit card
payment) is the registration complete.
Can I change or edit any personal information
(such as name, address, etc.) for existing registrants?

Currently, other than the "name", you can edit all information
for existing registrants. If you prefer to use a different name
for an existing registrant, then the only way to do this would
be to add a new registrant (and use the new name for this registrant).
You will have to enter other personal information such as date
of birth, sex, year met Mother etc. Again, although 2 personal
profiles will exist for the same person, you can select the
appropriate one to register. Selection is done by clicking and
checking the left hand side check box against each name.
Should I have an email address to register?

Yes. To have an email address is absolutely necessary prior
to registration. We understand not everyone has an email. But
as in any web application, an e-mail is needed to send confirmation
and receipt details. We recommend that you sign up for an e-mail
account with any of the free e-mail sites (like yahoo, hotmail
etc.).
I can't find any of the registrants
I had entered before I logged off?

On logging off from the retreat registration application, we
usually do not display the entered information in the succeeding
visits. If you left your registration incomplete, you will need
to re-enter all information and register. If you had logged
off after submission of the registration request, then you can
be assured that we have received this request although this
retreatant information is not displayed in your succeeding visits.
